Why Collaborative law
Whilst our headline phrase "divorce for grown
ups" may be slightly tongue in cheek, divorce law is an extremely
difficult area of law. The process can be expensive and very
stressful for the parties involved.
We believe that Collaborative law provides
the best opportunity for couples to sever their ties in a sensible,
conciliatory manner.
There was at one time only one route on offer to clients facing
matrimonial difficulties and that was the traditional Court based
route, if the parties could not reach an agreement between
themselves.
Now there are three routes.

There are 3 classic routes to successfully conclude a
divorce: |
 |
The Court based route |
 |
Mediation |
 |
and now - Collaborative Law |
 |
A quicker, more workable solution to marital separation. |
Collaborative Law has come from the USA fairly recently. It is
very popular over there and it is gaining momentum over here. There are
certain aspects that stand out in Collaborative Law,
which differ from all other routes.
